Lunch-time crowds downtown gathered outside Georgia Brown's Friday hoping to catch a glimpse of first lady Michelle Obama who was dining with Mayor Adrian Fenty, his wife, Michelle, and Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Jill.

The first lady, wearing a robin's egg blue coat and a contrasting turquoise top with an asymetrical neckline, was met by the cheering crowd outside fine dining soul-style restaurant on 15th Street NW.

Although the restaurant is just two blocks from the White House, Obama left the restaurant in one of several sports utility vehicles lining 15th Street.

So does the restaurant have to clear out the entire place just to let them eat?

WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR, TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE NEW FIRST LADY WALK DOWN THE STREET WITH A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE, AND ALLOW THE PUBLIC TO GREET HER.

Wow! Two Michelles and both are fantastic. One is married to a creative and compasionate leader and the other is married to a creep.

Michelle Fenty and Michelle Obama both have something in common when it comes to their husbands...and with any luck Michelle Rhee will be in the mix...watch what I say. As for Jill...just put her on Oprah and she will spill the juice about the conversation.
