Prince George's County store owner kills robber

FORT WASHINGTON, MD. — Police are calling a Fort Washington store owner a hero after he took away a robber's gun and killed him with it.

Prince George's County police say two people came into the Food Zone at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and tried to rob the store. The owner managed to get the gun away from one of them and shot him. The second man fled the scene.

Police haven't released the slain man's name or the name of the store owner
