BALTIMORE — Virginia police have arrested three people they say stole motorcycles, disassembled them and tried to ship them to Bolivia.

Baltimore Customs and Border Protection officers worked with Fairfax County Police to catch the group and recover the stolen bikes. Officials said Monday officers recovered eight motorcycles from four different shipping containers. The motorcycles had been disassembled and hidden inside cars.

The bikes were stolen from Maryland and Virginia.
