Woman shot during service for slain boyfriend

BALTIMORE — Police say a woman was shot while she attended a service at a Baltimore funeral home.
The 33-year-year-old woman was at the Joseph H. Brown Funeral Home on Thursday evening for a private family gathering for her boyfriend, who was fatally shot last week. Police didn't release the woman's name.
Police say the woman stepped outside after receiving a cell phone message and was shot in the chest.
The woman was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in serious condition.
Police say they are trying to determine whether the shooting was related to McFadden's death. No arrest has been made in his killing.
