The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force tracked a man accused of a raping a 13-year-old family member in Manassas to Alabama, where he was taken into custody, Prince William County police said.

Police started an investigation into 32-year-old Arturo Lopez Velasquez on Wednesday after receiving a complaint that he had raped the 13-year-old girl within the last year, police said. Marshals tracked Velasquez down in Alabama on Thursday, and police say the accused rapist turned himself in to local authorities.
