Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright suggested Friday that President Trump should spend more time thinking about his own actions instead of taking aim at former President Barack Obama on Twitter.
"The Obama administration worked very hard on dealing with the terrorist issues," Albright said on CNN. "It would be really nice if President Trump actually thought about what he was doing rather than blaming President Obama."
Trump on Friday commended his administration for the progress it's made on fighting terrorism since he took office.
"We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years.Must be proactive & nasty!" Trump tweeted.
The president's remarks come after London police reported an improvised bomb exploded on a London Underground train leaving the Parsons Green station in Southwest London on Friday morning.
More than 22 people were injured and taken to the hospital.
Trump sent several tweets after the terrorist attack.
"Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner. The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better," he said in one tweet.
"The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!" Trump said in a subsequent tweet.
