There they go again, members of the mainstream media shrugging off the scandals swirling around President Obama.
This week's Mainstream Media Scream features CBS News Political Director John Dickerson shrugging at the affairs. On Thursday's "CBS This Morning," he asserted that the White House was "trying to get something done on immigration. ... They're trying to stay focused on the things that really matter to this presidency, and only trying to spend a small amount of time putting out these little fires."
Media Research Center Vice President of Research Brent Baker explains our pick: "Treating all the scandals as 'little fires' is why the Obama administration is able to remain focused on its liberal agenda. If this were a conservative president, journalists like Dickerson would make sure the scandals were a major conflagration which disrupted the White House's agenda."
Three out of five screams.
