Megyn Kelly got visibly emotional on her "Today" show Monday morning during a report about the Texas church shooting, asking, “what does it say about us?”
Following a taped segment featuring families and victims of the Sutherland Springs shooting, Kelly choked up on the air.
“How do you make sense of a case where a 5-year-old gets shot five times?” she asked. “You know? 26 people are dead. I mean, what — does it say about us? Right? What are we going to do about it?”
Kelly said Sunday's shooting was a sign that “something in our culture is off — something is just wrong,” while also asking, “how do we stop someone determined to unleash hell in a free society?”
Officials said victims at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs range from 18 months to 77 years old. Twenty other people were injured.
