First lady Melania Trump is more popular than President Trump and first daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump, according to a new poll released Friday.

In the Economist/YouGov poll, 48 percent of adults surveyed had a favorable view of the first lady. Thirty-three percent felt negatively about Trump.

Republicans had a much more positive view of the first lady, with 89 percent having a favorable opinion. Just 24 percent of Democrats held a favorable view of her.

She is the only member of the Trump family to improve her favorable rating in the poll from a year ago. Last year, 44 percent of those surveyed had a favorable view of her.

Ivanka Trump’s favorable rating fell from 44 percent to 41 percent among adults surveyed. Adults who see her in a negative light increased from 32 percent to 42 percent.

President Trump’s favorability remains at 43 percent. Though his unfavorablity rating ticked up from 50 percent to 52 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,500 adults from Jan. 14-16. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3. percent.
