First lady Melania Trump will welcome the official White House Christmas tree on Monday.
Jim, Diane, and David Chapman, owners of Silent Night Evergreens in Wisconsin, will present the tree to Trump.
First ladies have usually been presented the tree on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the Associated Press reported. However, the Trump family is likely to spend the holiday in Florida at the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
The White House will display the 19-foot-tall Balsam fir in the Blue Room during the holiday season.
The Chapman family also presented the White House with a tree in 1998 and 2003, according to the National Christmas Tree Association.
“Being a guest of the White House should only be a dream for small farmers like us, and we are very excited about our trip to Washington,” Diane Chapman said in a news release.
