Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, revealed on Fox News on Wednesday morning that there are an estimated 500 fraudulent websites posing as the Obamacare website.

"There were probably an estimated 500 bogus web sites out there, fake web sites that say it's Obamacare but it's not," he said. "It's not healthcare.gov."

McCaul said that the websites existed to steal personal information and exploit uninformed consumers.

McCaul also said the Department of Health and Human Services ranks "near the bottom" on cyber security among government web sites.
