Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is questioning how Democrats plan to win back the majority in Congress when they have yet to offer an alternative to President Trump.

"The Democrats have yet to offer what the alternative is," Moore said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday. "Like, ‘We're going to take the House back.' Really? Where are all of those great candidates for next year?"

Moore urged Democrats to find the "beloved American in your district and run that person who can win."

Moore, a staunch opponent of Trump, said voters will continue to support the president over Democrats until the latter starts "running the right people" who know how to talk to the American people.

The filmmaker is producing a documentary about Trump titled "Fahrenheit 11/9."
