During her remarks at a fundraiser in New York, First Lady Michelle Obama explained to supporters that the President worked tirelessley to rebuild the economy and “didn’t point fingers” or “place blame.”

“This economy was losing 800,000 jobs a month, and a lot of people wondered whether we were heading for another Great Depression,” she reminded the audience. “And this is what Barack faced on day one as President of the United States.  He inherited an economy in rapid decline.”

“See, but your President, he didn’t point fingers.  He didn’t place blame,” she added. “Instead, he got to work, because he was thinking about folks like my dad and like his grandmother.”

The First Lady clearly failed to mention the number of times that her husband has blamed Bush for the economic woes of this country.
