Investigators are searching for answers this morning following yesterday's crash of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. The plane, traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was apparently shot down by a surface-to-air missile over Ukraine. Investigators are still determining who shot the missile.

Thursday's crash killed north of 290 passengers and now thrusts two major news stories back into the spotlight. It was just four months ago that Malaysia Airlines lost another plane. Flight MH370 was lost somewhere over the Indian Ocean, but has yet to be found. And in Ukraine, tensions have been rising for much of this year between the country and Russia.

Investigators are continuing search efforts on Friday.
