The Nevada Democratic Party trolled Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell with their newly revealed mascot on Tuesday.
The state party introduced “Mitch McTurtle” on Tuesday, as a “stand-in” for the Kentucky Republican. The turtle mascot came equipped with a burlap money bag, a name tag that read "Mitch," and a podium that read “shelling out millions for Dean Heller since 2011.”

Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., is up for re-election in 2018 and is expected to face a tough battle with the Democrats to maintain his seat. Rep. Jacky Rosen, D- Nev., will likely be the Democratic nominee.
For a number of reasons, including his appearance and personality, people have poked fun at McConnell for years by comparing him to a turtle.
