President Trump has agreed to speak at the National Rifle Association's annual leadership forum later this month, the gun rights group announced Friday.
Trump is slated to take the stage along with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Gov. Rick Scott, R-Fla.; and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke for the April 27-30 conference in Atlanta. More than 80,000 people are expected to attend the event.
The NRA endorsed Trump in last year's presidential election. He even spoke at last year's forum, discussing "getting rid of gun-free zones."
Donald Trump Jr., the president's eldest son, has become a leading gun rights surrogate for his father. He regularly posts photos on social media of hunting in upstate New York.
