The National Rifle Association has tied President Obama to New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a new video to raise concerns that the anti-gun duo are pulling the strings in the Senate's debate over gun control.

The new video cites a recent massive poll of rank and file police that found most believe that many of the gun control initiatives in the Senate debate won't curb gun violence. For example, the poll found that 80 percent of cops don't believe expanded background checks will cut gun violence.

Bloomberg has become a favorite target by conservatives who chafe at his nanny state efforts in the Big Apple.

The video urges senators to "Listen to the police, not Obama and Bloomberg."
