President Obama's former campaign machine, Organizing for Action, Tuesday night urged the public to call out "climate change deniers," listing contact information for 161 Republican politicians.

"Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate change is real and man-made, and affecting communities in every part of the country," says the organization's website. "Yet too many of our elected officials deny the science of climate change. Along with their polluter allies, they are blocking progress in the fight against climate change."

Among the politicians listed by Organizing for Action are governors, members of Congress and senators from across the country, all of whom are Republicans.

The challenge came just after the president returned from his trip to Paris for the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference. In recent weeks, the White House has played up its focus on environmental issues despite recent polls that indicate the public wants the administration to focus on fighting terrorism.
