A star is born

Reality stars are proliferating in Washington. The latest? Pamela Sorensen, the local gal about town and blogger at pamelaspunch.com.

A camera crew filmed Sorensen at her Arlington home Tuesday to gather footage for an upcoming episode of "Emeril Green" on Discovery's Planet Green network.

Later, the crew accompanied her to Kitchen in Glover Park for a Washington Humane Society fundraiser.

Sorensen said she'll film with Emeril Lagasse himself at the Whole Foods in Fairfax early next month.

Meanwhile, we've learned that crews for "Blonde Charity Mafia," the reality show on Georgetown socialites, will be back in town next week to continue filming its premiere season. The show’s stars, Katherine Kennedy and Krista Johnson, will be hosting an event at the St. Regis, sure to make for some good footage. The show was originally picked up by Lifetime, but has since been dealt to The CW Network.
