Bernstein's abode can be bought

Now that he's a rich and famous author,  you'd have a hard time buying Carl Bernstein's house. But for a meager$4,200 a month, you could rent the famed Watergate reporter's old stomping grounds in Kalorama.

The Washington City Paper's real estate classifieds features an ad for "one of DC's most prestigious addresses. ... Former residence of Carl Bernstein." (It just so happens that the Biltmore Street apartment was also once home to William Taft.)

The two-bedroom, two-bath spot encourages you to "enjoy the views from your top floor panoramic windows. " All the better to spy on crooked presidents...
