Former Barney Frank staffer now top Goldman Sachs lobbyist

Goldman Sachs' new top lobbyist was recently the top staffer to Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., on the House Financial Services Committee chaired by Frank. Michael Paese, a registered lobbyist for the Securities Industries and Financial Markets Association since he left Frank's committee in September, will join Goldman as director of government affairs, a role held last year by former Tom Daschle intimate, Mark Patterson, now the chief of staff at the Treasury Department. This is not Paese's first swing through the Wall Street-Congress revolving door: he previously worked at JP Morgan and Mercantile Bankshares, and in between served as senior minority counsel at the Financial Services Committee.

Politico reported this last week based on an anonymous source, and Bloomberg confirmed it today.

This stuff never fails to amaze me. But, what amazes me the most is how people on one side of the other, (Dem/GOP) never see it when it is on the side they think is looking out for them. Wake up people, most of these politicians are only looking out for themselves. If you don't like what you see going on in DC, then start voting this a-holes out. I don't care which letter is after their name. If you don't like the next one ether, vote them out. Sooner or later they will start to figure it out. I'm not saying all are dirty, I think there is a few good ones on both sides. And the rules need to change on the taxpayers having to give them a pension or heath care for the rest of their lives, because they manage to get elected by sweet talking their way in, and then their real colors come out.

It's just amazing how ofen the name G-O-L-D-M-A-N S-A-C-H-S keeps coming up as concerns money flowing in, and out, of D.C. How many people working in any fashion on Capitol Hill, those who are seen and those who cannot be seen, used to be - or are - presently affiliated in any manner with GOLDMAN SACHS? Is this sounding more and more like an event orchestrated say - maybe 10 to 20 years ago? Was Obama's rise, and election, timed for this, too? Very strange... very strange indeed.

Mr. Frank has a keen ability to invoke a disability commonly called selective memory. The people that lost there life savings in the great state of Massachusetts and all across America do to his incompetence should recall this uneducated spitting buffoon. The dirty laundry regarding his lifestyle (Prostitution) should be the deciding factor for the god fearing people of Massachusetts. Millions of retirement money has been lost all across America due to Barney Frank’s lack of action when he knew the housing industry was going to go bust. One of the most questionably influential members of congress sold his soul to the party, not his constituents. Demigods will do anything to stay in power. This man is Godless. As a rule Americans do not care what you do behind your bedroom door.
