Less than 10 percent of Obama cabinet has private sector experience

Nick Schulz, editor of the American Enterprise Institute's The American magazine, catches this eye-popping graph from a J.P. Morgan research report:

So as Obama wants to turn the economy around, less than ten percent of the cabinet officials he would presumably turn to for advice have ever worked in the private sector. Not encouraging.

Shulz has more over at The EnterpriseBlog.

Nothing to see here, folks.

Emperor Obama 'does' have clothes, I reassure you..

The graphs speaks volumes about from this radical Administration is coming from. From where it's members are coming is nowhere near most Americans are --- having to work for a living in the private sector for private businesses and industries that have to make a profit in order to survive and be in a position to hire more employees.

That's why they don't work in the private sector. If their ideas or policies worked, they would either own, or be in charge of running a successful business. The only business I know of that "runs without funds" is the government.

The real question is how can so many people have made a living without every really contributing to the economy. That is the amazing part.

Amazing - even a third-grader should be able to conclude that there is a lack of know-how and economic experience in the White House. Highlight this chart all over the media when the "Jobs Summit" commences... amazing!

This is demonstrably false. Clinton, Locke, Vilsack and Salazar were all lawyers in private practice and Chu was a research scientist and college professor. I'd also consider Geithner's IMF tenure as the equivalent of private sector employment.

Obama is what happens when the media elects a president as oppose to vetting one. We saw the signs of his inexperience. What is the productive nature of a community organizer?

Speaking of Geithner...How many positions requiring US Senate confirmation are still unfilled at the US Treasury? Could it be that NO ONE wants to work for him and this Corrupt Administration? And suffer the insult of the vetting process?

Do not be alarmed, kind people of the USA.

In one or two more generations (certainly no longer than that), NO one in America will have worked in the private sector, let alone remember what that arcane phrase once meant... back during the time when America was a World Leader.

My good friend and comrade Barack is simply setting the stage for what is certain to follow.

Resistance is futile; your lands and your economy shall be feudal.

Yea, but he makes up for it with his harvard elitists appointees, that probably accounts for the other 90%.

You've been hoaxed. Obama's cabinet? 77% have extensive private sector experience.

The chart says 10%? What other fibs come with the chart?

Ya get what ya vote for. In this case - a President that spent half of the time in the Senate campaigning for President. Obama has no real demonstrable accomplishments other than working for Acorn and a Community Organizer has now become the leader of the United State and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Services. He appears to have voted safely or not present many times as to provide cover for his future political ambitions. Even as a leader he shows his weakness when making tough decisions allowing committees and czars to direct policy rather then make the tough choices himself. This so reflects the path of the United States and the future. We (not me) continue to reward failure, punish success, seek a lower common denominator and we now witness the beginning of real wealth redistribution.
