The list that Washington Times & Big Hollywood posted shows that not one of the people on that call have ever received federal dollars. In fact, it shows they aren't even eligible. When you listen to the tapes, the examples they give are 'Blood Donation' and 'Recycling'... how is that "pushing Obama's agenda'

These emails show that a political appointee is in contact with the White House... where is the scandal there?

The White House is not in any way trying to seize control of the banking industry, or to take over major portions of automobvile manufacturing, nor is it waging a PR war against FOX news, nor is it supporting ACORN or even thinking about bringing communists like Van Jones into the govt. "how is that "pushing Obama's agenda'"... One of Yosi Sargent's specific "asks" is that artists create work that promotes the President and his policies. He even helps them through the brainstorm process, mentioning health care, the environment, etc.

One doesn't need to look far to find recent art work popping up in support of the Public Option. (Not to mention that sleazy spot on the Julia Louis Dreyfus show about the number of uninsured -- which doesn't even correlate to Obama's updated number).

Let me break it down for you simply:
NEA = Yosi Sargent
White House = Buffy Wicks and Kalpen Modi. Throw in Russell Simmons' guy.

Please tell me you are not trying to use an individual’s right to support fund raising efforts (regardless of their party affiliation) for a candidate as the justification for allowing this kind of gross misappropriation of tax payer dollars. As taken from its own website, the NEA was:
“Established by Congress in 1965 as an independent agency of the federal government, the Arts Endowment is the largest annual national funder of the arts…”
The keywords here being INDEPENDENT agency of the federal government…meaning that it should remain non-partisan for everyone to enjoy. This is not to say the artists themselves cannot choose their preferred medium to discuss political commentary, but leave the nudges from the White House out of it!

It is time to begin a real boycott. Pick the TIMEs Magazine. The strategy is. 1.) Build massive shared email data base to forward newsletter about boycott, 2.) Identify every advertiser in the magazine and begin a boycott of the advertisers, 3.) email the boycott details to every advertiser, 4.) Buy the magazine to increase the production and delivery costs to the magazine company, 5.) their ad revenue will drop significantly but, they will have to print to fulfill the subscriber demand. Higher overhead costs, decreased income from ads, - THIS WILL SEND A MESSAGE - Anyone interested - I'll do all the work from here - we need to build a data base of recipients.

I just have 1 question. Why do we need to pass this so called health care reform bill right now? what's the hurry? It won't even take effect till 2013 ( coincidentally 1 yr into Obama's 2nd term) If it is such a crisis why not implement it in 2010 right after it's signed???? (assuming it passes)
