Today at the White House:

As pool was being led out the door of the Cabinet Room from US-EU mini-summit, CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Chip Reid shouted the question to POTUS whether tonight's elections were a referendum on his tenure so far.

"Good try, Chip," POTUS replied.

Mr. Reid would like his shout to be characterized as "dignified."
