Pelosi and Hoyer split on Afghanistan?

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said he wants Gen. Stanley McChrystal to brief Congress about the need for more troops in Afghanistan, leaving open the possibility that he might support an increase.

"I think it would be very useful at some point in the future for Gen. McChrystal to share with Congress his views, his proposals and his sense of the success the changed strategy would bring," Hoyer said on Tuesday.

McChrystal, who is the top commander in Afghanistan for both the United States and NATO, warned Obama in a confidential memo that without more troops in the next year, the effort there will be a failure.

Hoyer is taking a different stance on the matter than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who  recently seemed to dismiss the idea of a troop increase.

"I don't think there's a great deal of support for sending more troops to Afghanistan, in the country or in the Congress," she said.

What the heck does Pelosi know about war, when was the last time she put her neck out in the battlefield? Maybe she just had too many plastic surgery's and her brain has failed her common sense. Oh by the way she has no common sense only a ME, ME I attitude.
As long as I get mine and by the way my health care is great too bad the rest of the nation doesn't have the same health care. I am just so great.
