Mr. Healy failed to notice that Obama did an about face on several topics after Cheney opened up his attacks on their effort to change many Bush's anti-terrorism policies. Something called the relationshi between cause and effect - something liberals are not familiar with.

The '93 WTC bmbing was actually facilitated by the NY FBI and set in motion during HW Bush's administration - check it out ! There also is evidence of prior knowledge and possible enabling ( complicity to murder American Citizens) by Cheney during 911 '01 - Norman Mineta's 911 commision testimony ( "the plane is 10 miles out , do the orders still stand? " ) Why isn't Cheney's apparent TREASON being pursued !

Well thought-out piece. I would only quibble with the reasoning on the following: "Has Bush/Cheney timidity kept us at risk for the last six years?" I know this is meant to be tounge in cheek. But using the harsher techniques on just three people does make sense in the context of pressing three top terrorists with likey (and apparently claimed) knowledge of future attacks. Few would have that knowledge, and there is no reason to think the techniques were used just for the fun of it, as many "torture is alwasy wrong!" folks imply.

I have documents pertaining to allegations of illegal electronic surveillance, obstruction of justice & making false statements in writing to Congress in regards to the documented "existence" of a federal internal affairs investigation which the U.S. Marshals Service denied existed when questioned by Congress. Please review the supporting information within my website. Thank you. http://www.daprocess.com
