Potential successor? Please, he has established himself as a laughing stock to both party and nation. Get him a show on Bravo already and let us all Move On.

The "Imperial Vice Presidency" grew to fit Cheney. Obama downsized it the minute he chose Biden for the office. He was a strikingly bad choice that even makes Palin look better by the day (at least you might have hope she could grow in office). Will Obama's other risky schemes turn out better?

I felt when he was nominated that ol' Joe was there only as some sort of life insurance policy. No one would do harm to a President Obama if they knew that knucklehead would then be in charge.

Joe Biden was picked as Obama's insurance against impeachment.

Mr. Healy has a shaky hold of American history if he can write this sentence: "Fritz Mondale was the first vice-president to get a permanent office in the West Wing and status as a key adviser. "

Biden is an idiot. If Barack did not see/know that it reveals a serious lack of character analysis skills. Was it the simple, historical imperative to make Presidential removal a horrifying prospect for the country? Nope, it was just that Biden, while moronic, has mastered the art of political posturing. The ignorant of the Dem electorate were actually persuadable that this was a personage of gravitas... remember that? Biden was to impart the wisdom of age to the youth of Obama. Jeez.
