Judy Miller: You are upset with the treatment of Ms. Hartmann for her criticism of Slick Willie's stooges (i.e., the Tribunal) in the conduct of Slobo's trial? Where were you when British reporter Ann Prentice was silenced when testifying to personally witnessing none other than Osama bin Laden stride into president Alija Izetbegovic's office in 1994 during the Bosnian conflict (who Slick Willie secreted into Bosnia along with his Mujahadeen fighters IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF OUR WORD GIVEN IN THE SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION EMBARGOING WEAPONS AND SUPPLIES TO YUGOSLAVIA? Where are you also on commanding general of the UN mission Lewis MacKenzie's assessment of the Srebrenica affair in which the 7500 figure that you continue to parrot is dismissed summarily? I always thought that your deprivation of liberty without due process under Patrick Fitzgerald, as well as your capricious dismissal by the Times' Bill Keller was outrageous. Was I wrong?

Hartmann abused her position as a spokesperson for the ICTY Prosecutor's Office to obtain confidential information, which she then disclosed to the public. That's why she's on trial for contempt. This isn't a freedom of speech issue at all. Personally, I think Ms. Hartmann is lying about the contents of those documents. If the Tribunal had information linking Serbia to Srebrenica, then why didn't they use it against Milosevic? If they weren't going to use the evidence, then why would they have gone to the trouble to obtain it? The whole story is stupid.

This is reason # 482 why I HATE 'international tribunals' made up of foreign lawyers. What lying, robed tyrants! Oh, well. That's why American civilians own almost 300 million guns. If need be, their barrels will speak for us.

the hague tribunal is absolutely corrupt. The US pays for it but doesn't accept the hagues authority over them just over other countries. They are also looking into prosecuting a Serb editor from Belgrade for keeping people informed.http://de-construct.net/ Anyone can watch parts of the trial on youtube to see just how corrupt this institution is.The fact that Serbs have been held for trial for 4-5 years awaiting trail is in itself criminal.
