Good thoughts....and if our energy prices go up that drastically, not only will we be stepping backwards in time by trying to use less energy, we will also have much less money to spend in our local businesses and economies. The economy will suffer terribly b/c of this.

I sure would like to know if Waxman, Markey, and any others who support cap and trade have a financial stake in it like Algore does. Whether they're investors in "green" energy or if they get a lot of "green" from some environmental groups.

There is no warming crisis and never has been. Cap and trade makes no sense at all except for certain individuals that are heavily invested in the production of windmills and solar panels (think Algore) and other Green fanatics who have conducted a disinformation campaign. These people are no better than con men and richly deserve censure and to be thrown out of politics.

It is incomprehensible that African-American politicians in Washington are trying to force a tax system on our country that increases energy prices that harm the future of African-Americans the most of any ethnic group.
