Who: Fannie Mae
What: The government sponsored, turned government owned mortgage giant needs another $15 billion in emergency capital.
Why it's an outrage: Even though Fannie Mae's shady accounting practices have been public knowledge since 2004, their lobbying efforts bought protection from Democrats in congress until the subprime mortgage market collapsed leaving taxpayers on the hook for up to $200 billion.
Where to vent: Call Fannie Mae corporate headquarters at (202) 752-7000 and the office of Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the House Financial Services Committee at (202) 225-5931.
