Oprah Winfrey has tamped down speculation she is considering a bid for the White House in 2020, according to a report.

“It’s not happening. She has no intention of running,” a source told NBC Monday.

Anticipation concerning Winfrey's political ambitions ran rife Sunday night after the media maven delivered a fiery address about sexual harassment and racial injustice at the 75th Golden Globe Awards.

Winfrey's longtime partner Stedman Graham further fueled speculation Sunday when he told the Los Angeles Times she would "absolutely" run for president, but “it’s up to the people.”

This is not the first time Winfrey has had to manage the expectations of her supporters, saying in June 2017 she "will never run for public office."
