It seems every time President Trump dons a pair of glasses, social media can't help but have fun with it.

As Trump departed his golf club in Virginia on Sunday, an Associated Press photographer snapped a picture of Trump peering over his spectacles as he drove away.

Andrew Harnik of the AP shared a black-and-white version of the photo on Twitter, leading to journalists and other Twitter users remarking on the "rare" studious look and also having some fun with it.

Trump and his eye-wear have elicited mockery and delight in the past.

In August it was his decision to take off his safety glasses and look up into a total solar eclipse at the White House that caused Twitter to erupt.

And of course there is the infamous 2015 "Saturday Night Live" video in which he parodied the video of Drake's hit "Hotline Bling," in which he also wore glasses and danced.
