Alba in Washington, all about the baby

It was a family affair for Jessica Alba this week in Washington, using her time in town to support the issues most important to husband Cash Warren and baby daughter Honor Marie.
The family arrived into Union Station Thursday morning after taking the train down from New York, where she wowed in a mini dress on the red carpet Monday night at the Met Costume Gala.
But on Wednesday her fashion was much more Washingtonian - gray knee-length skirt, pink cardigan cinched with a thin black belt and pearls, natch - when she appeared on the Hill to accompany Warren to a screening of the documentary he produced, “Crips v. Bloods.”
Warren sounded like the new dad he is, telling Yeas & Nays outside the south theater in The Capitol Visitor's Center that the birth of his daughter has “absolutely” made his films on Los Angeles gangs more aware of the environment they are raising their daughter.
Thursday it was Alba's turn, supporting the Children's Defense Fund's push for more affordable health care for children, something a new mom is sure to care about.
Alba was joined by actress Keri Russell at the Unity Health Care Upper Cardozo Clinic in Columbia Heights where the women - joined by Ali Wentworth and Michelle Fenty - met with children and held a round table discussion with health advisors.
Alba then traveled back to the Capitol, where, along with Russell, she met with Senator Max Baucus, D-Mont., to discuss the issue of children's health.
