Bush: Obama wasn't 'remotely qualified'

The latest tell-all from a Bush administration aide, speechwriter Matt Latimer's long-awaited "Speech-Less," hits stores next week. Byron York teased the book's content on Tuesday, and now GQ is out with the first actual excerpts.

In it, President George W. Bush weighs in, according to Latimer's recollections, on several of the players in the 2008 elections, and does so scathingly.

After Barack Obama blasted his administration in a speech, Bush spouted off in the West Wing: "This is a dangerous world, and this cat isn't remotely qualified to handle it. This guy has no clue, I promise you."

Vice President Joe Biden didn't escape Bush's candid assessment, either. "If bullshit were currency, Joe Biden would be a billionaire," Latimer remembers Bush quipping to his staff.

But according to Latimer, Bush's sharp political instincts were best on display in his assessment of John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin to be his running mate. "What his she, the governor of Guam?" he asked, when informed of the choice.

"You know, just wait a few days until the bloom is off the rose," he continued. "This woman is being put into a position she is not even remotely prepared for," he said. "She hasn't spent one day on the national level. Neither has her family. Let's wait and see how she looks five days out."

Bush is a fine one to criticize Obama. Bush's administration was an eight year reign of error, incompetance, prevarication, corruption, and unnecessary war. The American people were quite right in electing Obama last fall, and he has proven to be light years better than the Bush/Cheney,Rove gang of rogues.

One could say that today's political environment is one of wait and see, nothing is as it appears upon first presentation; especially D.C..

Interesting that the Examiner chose this particular tidbit (Bush said Obama wasn't qualified) to headline. Nothing was said about bush misunderstanding his own TARP proposal. Nothing about Bush ragging on McCain about not being able to draw a crowd in his home state. And only a brief reference about Bush's criticism of Sara Palin, leaving out the harsher words that Bush had about Palin's inexperience. It's obvious that Examiner publisher Philip Anschultz, being an oil baron and the world's 31st richest man, wants to use his paper to promote Republican talking points.

This is the understatement of the year ! NEVER has any President in the history of America gotten so much publicity, either positive or negative. And Obama is only in his first year. And most of it doesn't look good for him. Obama has more than 30 Czars running the nation because he himself is NOT qualified to run the country. Neither is Biden.

It's no wonder that NObama's health care plan is so weak on mental illnesses...he still needs all of those votes. Please remove all computers from these lemmings so they will stop dragging our country over the cliff.

In less than a year, the TOTUS-reading fuhrer (who is the puppet of ayers, soros and, yes, wright) has firmly established humself as the worst president since at least 1900. He has spent more in his time in office than the SUM TOTAL OF EVERY PRESIDENT ALL THE WAY BACK TO WASHINGTON (that includes both Bushes). He has no foreign policy other than to slam the USA and our friends while coddling our enemies. The world may have been pissed at us under Bush but they laugh at us under der new fuhrer. I know that pleases libtards but it concerns real Americans. It will take a generation to unscrewup what this idiot has done.

You Obamaphiles are crazy. Go back to your Obamamosque and say Hear us Obama!, Deliver us Obama! Not one conservative ever worshiped Bush. But more than a few of you guys need to fill your cranial voids with the Obamunism.

Bush is right; Obama doesn't have a clue. This was clearly evident in Obama's choice of Vice President, the buffoon, Joe Biden. Neither Obama or Biden has any substance.
