Coulter tells beauty queen to 'go forth and sin no more'

Outspoken conservative Ann Coulter was at the National Press Club on Tuesday night as part of its 32nd annual Book Fair and Authors' Night. In recent weeks, Coulter has come to the support of fallen beauty queen Carrie Prejean.

Well, at least someone's got her back.

The queen of controversy, Ann Coulter, and fallen beauty queen Carrie Prejean have been compared in recent months for their outspoken advocacy of conservative Christian values.

Coulter even came to Prejean's defense after her performance on "Larry King Live," saying the veteran anchorman was badgering her.

But now with word of multiple sex tapes and other bad behavior, Yeas & Nays sat down with Coulter to see whether she could still stand behind the beauty queen.

"I would say that she is a great gal," Coulter said. "I think she did some bad things unbecoming of a Christian ... the latest entry that she lied about the age she was [in the sex tape]. It was rather more recent and that there are more tapes, that makes it a little trickier."

Despite Prejean's "sins," Coulter said how she handles the tapes is critical.

"I just hope she clings to Christ and not to these pornographers who want to offer her a lot of money to market the tapes," Coulter said.

As for her reported bad behavior toward a CNN news assistant on the set of "Larry King Live," Coulter blamed Prejean's immaturity combined with broken promises by the media.

"Suddenly she is in the vortex of all of this hatred. And you have to say that it is directed at her for being a Christian -- that's a lot to take," Coulter said. "I mean Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and the rest of them don't handle the media, young fame very well."

In the end, Coulter went back to the usual target -- lack of family values.

"She came from a broken family, and girls who grow up without their fathers are often going to be found to be a little more promiscuous than the average girl," Coulter said. "And I hope being a Christian will help her get over that."

I can't believe she would be so idiotic to actually create 7 of these tapes LOL. As if 1 wasnt plenty. I won't lie tho, I actually watched the first video at this site: http://www.tinyurl.com/prejeansextape she's really kinky and the guy who she was dating was an idiot to have let her go.

This is another example of someone in the media elite (in this case Ann Coulter) attacking poor innocent Carrie Prejean. At the Focus on the Family's Voters Value Summit (held in September), Carrie stated that she as raised by a wonderful mother AND FATHER. See the 1:57 minute mark of the youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LY7y695ubI0. How dare that snobby Ann Coulter even suggest that Carrie is from a broken home (which is suggesting that Carrie is a liar). I think Ann is just jealous of Carrie because people are buying the Conservative Women's Calendar to get a look at Carrie and not her.

In addition, how dare Ann suggest that Carrie's upbringing is somehow responsible for her choices (that's "victimhood" which is what liberals embrace - not conservatives). Carrie has stated publicly that she is taking "full responsibility" for her solo sex tape (or is it tapes?), that Carrie claims she made at age 17 while immature. I'm sure Carrie will show Ann up by reporting herself to the police for the manufacture and distribution of child pornography - I, for one, can't wait.

I'm the same way, I do my best to remain neutral. It's hard, if you communicate with the person the other person dislikes, then you fall out of favor with them! I simple can't dislike a person, just because someone else does, I just can't.
