It’s no lie: Rep. Wilson has serious credit card debt

Washington Examiner

No wonder he’s a little stressed out.

Rep. Joe Wilson’s, R-S.C., outburst last week on the house floor during President’s Obama's joint session speech on health care legislation has become the interruption heard around the world this week (Kanye West’s outburst at MTV’s Video Music Awards notwithstanding). But documents filed at the end of last year could point to one explanation — he’s in some major credit card debt.

Documents obtained by watchdog group OpenSecrets.org show that the congressman has a minimum credit card debt balance of $30,002 between his American Express credit card and Bank of America credit card. And that’s the best-case scenario, as federal disclosure requirements only require elected officials to provide a range of debt. If he’s hit the maximum of that range, he could be looking at a combined total that tops out at $100,000.

Maybe he should ask for a bailout?

Not much context here just another attempt to discredit Mr. Wilson for speaking out. It also shows that the left has not found anything worse. How about noting that Mr. Wilson, and each of his four sons has, or is serving in our country's military.

Maybe Chuck Rangel can loan him some of his tax free money or Jefferson dip into his freezer for a little help! I think there are more folks out there working for us with bigger debt than $30,000.00

What does this have to do with anything?

Joe displayed "rightous indignation", it was not a mean spirited outburst directed toward the dove of peace and pillar of truth!!!!!O, is a liar following his usual deceptive mean of communication. So why bring up how much Mister Wilson owes the credit card???do you owe anything?? This is his private domain and will not hurt us. On the other hand the big liar of the White House is a deceiver and is screwing us. We always had enough evidence to not vote for him, each day adds a new load of lies. So where are you???not denouncing him for who he is along with all his chicago pals?? all thugs. and how about writing heavily about Acorn??? NO? I see!!!!!!!

The only thing worse that the left has found out is that Joe Wilson's statement was factually wrong - but I guess we can ignore that.

Bah. I'm more concerned that Joe is a Daughter of the Confederacy or whatever. Still, it's obvious we don't pay him enough.....poor guy.

I guess we should at least admire him for his lack of political wile, since he's effectively deep-sixed his next run. What a jackass, though. The low road only leads down. Even a child knows that.

He probably went into debt printing up those free Joe Wilson t-shirts, Confederate flags, and lynching ropes .

This whole Joe Wilson thing has been blown way out of proportion. He is neither a hero or a villain - just a rude loud mouth who can't control his impulses. Now the media just obsesses over this instead of reporting real news.

So what's the problem? Can't he just submit those bills to a health industry lobbyist for payment?

Look what Bush and the rest of those traitorous republicans have done to the nations debt. Is it any wonder they can't handle their own? Thats why they need to constantly steal it from others. These racist traitors are hellbent on destroying our country just to spite a black president.

Wilson reminds me of Preston Brooks, the southern congressman who beat up Senator Sumner of Massachusetts with his cane. As Thomas Sowell points out in an article on white trash culture, that culture's characteristics include impulsiveness, violence, improvidence, and lack of thrift. That description sounds pretty much like inner-city criminals or low-class households.

What better proof do you need that Joe Wilson is not taking money under the table. DC must be difficult to afford on a representative's salary. We should be focused on Charlie Rangal who has managed to accumulate millions on a similar salary.

Is that all there is? Kind of a waste of time. Yawn!!!

Those congress thieves already earn enough money!

Sep 17, 2009

Much more than middle class households do. And yet he still has a big credit card debt? What a shiftless bozo. Lousy with financial planning.

And what does this have to do with anything.Well let's find out what all the congressman and senators and speaker of the house what debts they have.Oh yes and more tax dodgers Charlie Rangel how did he accumulate all that money on his salary. Why don't we stop trying to distract the American people with non-news issus.Yes we know it's time to leave Sara alone for a while and go after Joe after all he called the President a LIAR so it the old RULES FOR RADICAL page use the race card and dig up as much dirt we can and the people will snub him.I DON'T THINK SO.Where is all the info on this Prez like they demanded from Bush.OH I forgot he isn't a Democrate and he believes in GOD and he has a backbone.GOD BLESS HIM.

I'm the same way, I do my best to remain neutral. It's hard, if you communicate with the person the other person dislikes, then you fall out of favor with them! I simple can't dislike a person, just because someone else does, I just can't.
