Moore opts for one-miler; Dean cooks for crowd

Mandy Moore was spotted Sunday morning among the 2,500 participants at the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation's Race to End Women's Cancer looking low-key with her hair tied back and a race T-shirt. Out of the half marathon, 5k or one-miler options, Moore opted for the one-miler.

Yo-Yo Ma gave an intimate performance for about 20 people at the home of Wanda Ferragamo. Victor Hugo, grandson of the late French writer of "Les Miserables" and founder of the Modern Art Music Movement, was the presenting sponsor of the concert which was a benefit for Evangelism Explosion International. Singer and songwriter Michael McDonald, conservative political activist Alan Keyes and Fox News' Nelson Lewis were among the invited guests.

Also in town this weekend, Guy Fieri and Paula Dean at the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Show at the Washington Convention Center Saturday night and Faith Hill at the Country United Luncheon at the Omni Shoreham Hotel on Friday.
