Power play: GQ reveals Washington's 50 most powerful

GQ reveals its "50 Most Powerful People in D.C." list today, which includes at No. 50, Josh Wolman, director of admissions for Sidwell Friends School. Wolman's GQ profile reveals this:

Acceptance rate: 14 percent

Obama bump: 25 percent increase in applications

Who writes recommendations: baby sitters, Hebrew-school teachers, music instructors, Clintons
