Oprah Winfrey rules the Democratic Party.

A new Rasmussen Poll released Wednesday found that 76 percent would vote for Oprah over President Trump in 2020 and that an exact amount have a favorable opinion of her.

And in a head-to-head race, she would beat Trump 48 percent to 38 percent.

The first poll on Oprah’s viability since her comments at the Golden Globes is a boost for her budding candidacy and show that she could dominate the early race.

Even some Republicans would back the TV mega-star and media darling. Rasmussen found that 22 percent of Republicans would back Oprah over Trump, with Trump winning just 66 percent of the GOP in a match-up.

Rasmussen said:

TV personality Oprah Winfrey is the likely winner over President Trump if the 2020 election were held today, but there are a lot of undecideds. Forty-eight percent (48%) of Likely U.S. Voters would opt for Winfrey, while 38% would choose Trump. But a sizable 14% are undecided.
