A shocking new poll reports that 74 percent of likely Republican voters believe surprise front-runner Donald Trump will eventually win the nomination, saying he is "likely" to do so. The poll was conducted by Rasmussen.
Rasmussen reports a 16-point spike from a poll conducted on the same question just a week ago, and that thirty-four percent also believe a Trump nomination is not just likely, but "very likely."
According to this poll, few GOP voters remain Donald doubters. Only 23 percent of likely Republican voters say he is "unlikely" to capture the nomination.
Rasmussen's numbers differ considerably from a poll conducted by ABC News, which puts the number of Republicans forecasting a Trump victory at a still relatively commanding, but significantly smaller number of 43%.
Rasmussen though claims a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points, and 95 percent level of confidence for this poll.
