WASHINGTON, DC - On April 26, 2014, Senator Rand Paul will travel to Bangor, Maine to headline several events for the Maine Republican Party during it's state convention.

"The people of Maine have always had an independent and limited government streak, I look forward to joining the activists of Maine in Bangor during their state convention." said Senator Rand Paul.

Maine Republican Party Chairman Rick Bennett added: "I can't think of a better national figure to speak at our convention to the issues of individual liberty and economic prosperity than Senator Rand Paul. I admire the principles Senator Paul stands for, and as I hear from Republicans across our state, I know that a groundswell of support for these principles is rising.
