Ashley Judd and her husband of more than 11 years, race car driver Dario Franchitti, have split.
The couple "mutually decided" to end their marriage, Ashley said.
"We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed," she told People magazine.
Shortly after the news broke, she tweeted: "Family forever. @dariofranchitti."
The couple wed in Scotland in 2001 after being engaged for two years.
Sur-prise, sur-prise, sur-prise!
Jim Nabors, 82, the actor beloved for playing Gomer Pyle, has quietly wed his longtime partner.
According to E! News, Jim married Stan Cadwallader, 64, in a low-key ceremony in Seattle on Jan. 15. The "Andy Griffith Show" alumnus said, "I'm very happy that I've had a partner of 38 years and I feel very blessed. And what can I tell you, I'm just very happy."
Jim told Hawaii News Now that it was important for him to marry now that gay couples are gaining equal rights under the law. He said he wanted to ensure that both he and his partner were protected legally in case one of them gets sick or dies.
"It's pretty obvious that we had no rights as a couple, yet when you've been together 38 years, I think something's got to happen there, you've got to solidify something. And at my age, it's probably the best thing to do," said Jim, who underwent open-heart surgery in May.
This is the first time Jim has publicly acknowledged his sexuality, though it's something he said he's known since he was a child and never kept secret from his colleagues and friends.
Feeling better, are we?
Lindsay Lohan apparently overcame her "illness" to fly to Los Angeles for her court hearing.
The actress, who tried to skip out on the hearing by saying she was sick, was photographed shopping and smoking in New York City the day before her scheduled appearance.
But she flew in first thing Wednesday morning and showed up. Late, of course.
"Thank you, Your Honor. It is a great honor to appear in your court," Lindsay's new attorney said to the judge before mentioning how he knew that she used to be a NYPD detective.
"Flattery does not get you anywhere in this court," the judge responded. She then turned to Lindsay and said, "Glad to see you are feeling better today."
LiLo is facing three misdemeanor counts stemming from her June car crash.
She was charged for willfully resisting, obstruction, providing false information to an officer and reckless driving. She was still on probation for her jewelry theft case at the time of the accident.
