Redskins right tackle Tyler Polumbus was cleared to return to practice Friday, but the coaches still limited him as he returns from a concussion. He’s questionable to play in Sunday’s finale vs. Dallas.

Safety DeJon Gomes (knee) also was limited and is questionable. Linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) did not practice, but he is listed as probable.

Coach Mike Shanahan said they limited Polumbus’ reps in full-team work because they wanted to prepare in case he doesn’t play. They want to monitor him over the next two days to make sure there are no setbacks. Knowing that he’s still questionable, they gave Maurice Hurt reps with the first team.

“We’ll see how he feels tomorrow,” Shanahan said. “That’s a key, not only tomorrow but Sunday. You take a look at his movement when you do look at film. But when he did practice, he looked pretty good, which is a good sign.”

Polumbus missed Sunday’s win at Philadelphia, but is cautiously optimistic.

“I feel like I’m making progress,” Polumbus said. “As a competitor you want to be out there for everything. I’m certainly going to do everything in my power to get out there and be a part of this game.”
