Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is practicing Wednesday, three days after suffering a concussion in a 24-17 loss to Atlanta. Griffin was expected to practice anyway after passing a series of cardio tests on Tuesday.
The Redskins do not want practice updates reported until after practice when coach Mike Shanahan talks to the media. But the Redskins website already posted video of Griffin practicing. It’s uncertain if Griffin is taking part in all the drills, but he went through individual work before practice was closed (as they all are).
Griffin was knocked from the game against Atlanta when linebacker Sean Weatherspoon drilled him as he tried to slide at the end of a run.
