Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren on Thursday that Democrats in red states want Obamacare delayed because the GOP is going to "ring it right around their necks" during the 2014 election.
Priebus' comment came while discussing the recent decision by the Obama administration to delay the employer mandate that would force businesses with 50 or more employees to provide health insurance or pay a fine.
"I think that the Democrats in these states like South Dakota, Montana, Alaska, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, where the president didn't win over 42 percent of the vote — they want nothing more than to get this Obamacare off the table for the next 18 months," Priebus said. "And you know why? Because we're going to ring it right around their necks for the next 18 months."
