The Republican National Committee raised $7.3 million August and has more than $45 million cash on hand, according to Federal Election Commission data released Tuesday.
"The Republican Party continues to thrive because of steady support from the American people," RNC Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel said in a statement Tuesday. "We are thankful for individuals across the country who have expressed confidence in us to support President Trump and defend Republican majorities in Congress."
The RNC has brought in $93.3 million this year, far beyond previous years' fundraising hauls and well-outperforming the Democratic National Committee.
The DNC raised $38 million in the first six months of 2017 compared to the RNC's $75 million.
The Democrats have not shared their August numbers yet, but pulled in $3.8 million in July. However, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee posted a record-high $6.26 million in donations last month.
