Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will land in Virginia Wednesday, prempting President Obama's campaign kickoff in Richmond Saturday.

Romney is scheduled to visit Exhibit Edge in Chantilly Wednesday morning and will attend a private fundraising event in Arlington that evening.

He will make another campaign stop in the Old Dominion Thursday, though details for that event have yet to be released.

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, a vice presidential contender, will join Romney at the Arlington fundraiser and at the to-be-determined event, spokesman Tucker Martin said.

Obama plans to officially launch his campaign at the Virginia Commonwealth University campus in Richmond on Saturday with First Lady Michelle Obama following a kickoff event in Ohio, another swing state.
