On MSNBC Thursday morning, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., explained that the IRS scandal was merely one more example of a “culture of intimidation” promulgated by the Obama White House.

“I think it’s important for the president to be honest about the culture of intimidation that his administration has created here,” Rubio said when asked about the IRS scandal.

Rubio cited additional examples of intimidation from Obama, including the National Labor Relations Board muscling Boeing, the IRS auditing donors to the Mitt Romney campaign, and the Justice Department targeting the Associated Press.

“This is not isolation,” Rubio insisted. “This is a string of events where you see administration and federal government under this administration willing to use its power to muscle and to hardball people who don’t agree with them.”
