While "Scandal" has never been as bad as "Homeland" when it comes to portraying D.C. realistically, some of those scenes that are clearly green-screened in front of the White House are simply jarring. But perhaps season three will be better, as a crew from Master Key Productions was in town Tuesday doing some background shooting for the hit ABC series, which stars actress Kerry Washington.

So where can we expect to see some real D.C. spliced into episodes of "Scandal?" Most importantly, they took shots in front of the White House. In addition, according to the D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development, crews captured Connecticut Avenue from K Street up through Dupont Circle and, finally, Seventh Street NW from the Archives Metro station, through Chinatown, to the Convention Center.
