The Shakespeare Theatre Company announced that Audra McDonald and Christopher Plummer will be appearing at Sidney Harman Hall later this year for another installment of the series Classic Conversations with Michael Kahn. Kahn, the company's artistic director, will be discussing classical theater and acting with McDonald on May 20 and Plummer on June 3. McDonald has won five Tony Awards, including one in 2012 for her performance in "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess." She also starred in ABC's "Private Practice." Plummer, of course, portrayed Captain von Trapp in the movie "The Sound of Music" and received his first Academy Award in 2012 at the age of 82 for the film "Beginners." Tickets for the shows cost $20 to $35 and can be purchased online.
